Three Favorites

The Lens-Artists Photo Challenge July 31 host is Sarah asking for three of our favorite photos. I humbly consider myself an amateur photographer, but I enjoy taking pictures this first one has a memory; I would like to forget but do I really want to forget? Happened one day during a major snow storm, and I noticed my bird feeder, as seen below. As soon as I captured the image, the snow fell off my metal roof and knocked me over. My camera bounced into the deep snow, and I was shocked but unhurt.

Ta-da! Number two, I was visiting the cemetery, and right next to it was this large wheat field with this spectacle as seen in my photo. As luck was on my side, I had my camera and captured it not for the moment but forever.

Number three below — You may have seen this image before on my blog, it is a pathway hidden within and waiting to be discovered as one walks along the many acres of treasured land high on a hill overlooking Spokane on Mount Saint Michael Church property.

Backyard—Beehive—Brave—Beautiful—Buzzing—Bees

Years ago I did a series of drawings/paintings of bees, which I put into a story for my grandchildren; which was inspired by these bumblebees living in my garden at that time.

Today the prompt is for the LETTER ‘B’. Please be kind to my creation I humbly show off along with the suggested rules from the prompt; Place, Emotion, Adjective, Verb, and animal/insect as seen below the above image.

Backyard beauties birds
 and Bees buzzing cheerfully
All brave and busy
All-day long

Created to do
Praising God and mankind too!

What can be more lovely than a bumblebee, I submit my image for WhatSoEver is Lovely

Eugi's Weekly, Word Prompts

A very scary short story — right here!

Oh my! I have been reading here on WordPress who have confessed their blogs have evolved; let me add mine to the list.
First, being introduced to prompts/challenges, and then poetry; now, I am having great fun writing short stories.

Shadows caught my imagination

Adding to the eerieness, the electricity ceased, while shadows caught my imagination off guard; being home alone at this time was quite unnerving!

Howling like a wounded Coyote, I heard the wind plunge against the house; the trees LEANed against the fence.

I jumped! I knew to keep calm is easier said than done.

YET!

Like a shot, the rain stopped. A few moments later, the front door opened, a voice said, “anything new.”

Sighing!

I replied, “just another boring day, mom.”

#WQWWC, Cee's challenge

Multiple Challenges are fun to do!

Perhaps I will be successful with several challenges today, all in one. Sort of like “one size fits all.”

First the FLOWER OF THE DAY also known as FOTD

Sometimes the things we take for granted are the most beautiful!

NEXT UP IS!

Everyone is climbing a tree this month a square tree in fact, thank you Becky!

A Tree Squared for your viewing below

Found this tree in one of the beautiful camp sites here in Spokane.

I call this The Holy Tree, I like holy things!
Second view

NEXT now that we noticed a Pine blossom climbed a tree, let’s all relax next to the trees.

Hmmmm!
Relax, relax! ♫

What If !!!

The word today from the famous Fandango is PERFUNCTORY!

Fight with delight, fight the fight, these statues the “peaceful” unthinking, perfunctory protestors are tearing down, have had enough.  BEWARE!

You will have to agree, I feel, these images below are certainly perfunctory, glib, or at least artful, depending on how you look at things.
