Shhhh! Quiet, don’t say a word; listen now.
Be very still and with your mind; ask HIM!
Feel the calmness, the peace;
you can almost hear the whisper.
“Here I am.” It speaks. Give ear to the whisper.
The voice that says, “come!”
The battle begins, the distractions, our mind wanders, and we all know why; next, we hear that eerie, dark, sinister voice, shaky almost sing-song. We listen, we hear the call to our mind the word…M I N E!
Forgetting that peaceful moment, we wake and carry on with the voice that called us to them. MINE!

His Will or my will?

Fandango’s Provocative Question Is there really such a thing as a necessary evil, or is it just a way for us to rationalize or justify doing something bad?

My answer:

As defined by the Church, evil is an absence of God.
The absence of God is a result of our free will. In this life, most of us try, fall, get up again, try again, fall, get up! That is life. Some give up totally; despair. Evil is not necessary just a result of expressing our own will above God’s Will. We are all sinners, and yes, we try to make excuses to justify our wrong choices.

Fandango’s Provocative Question, answered by me!

Each week Fandango will pose what he thinks is a provocative question for other bloggers consideration. His question is below, why not give us your input, just click here link:

“Do you believe in fate and predestination? If so, what or who is the source? If you do believe in predestination, is there anything anyone can do to change their predestined fate?”

I believe God has a purpose for every one of us in this life and on an appointed day, we will die. Prayer is most important in the discovery of this purpose without prayer we are left to our own discretion, and more often we are doomed to failure. God, however in my belief, also hears the prayers of others when they pray for us, especially our parents. He mainly listens to parents, when a parent curses their children, He hears that too!

We make our own choices, it’s called free will, to choose right from wrong that is what determines our peace of soul. God who knows everything knows our options before we make them He did not create us to be puppets. God wants us to depend on Him, which is why He showed us in the Bible the perfect prayer known as the Lord’s Prayer aka The Our Father, that prayer when you offer it has everything we need.

There is only One God not many gods as stated in the First of the Ten Commandments. The First three Commandments are how we are expected to treat God; the other Seven Commandments are how we are supposed to treat each other. It’s not that difficult. To pray is to be humble and God loves humility, to say no to prayer is Pride. As long as we have breath, it is never too late to start, but when we draw that last one, our will is fixed forever. Why? Because if we choose not to want God in our life, why would we want Him in the next?

Sorry Fandango, for the preaching, but you asked for it!

Ah! Another Challenge, Word Prompts

Please Join In OPPOSITES ATTRACT

This post today was a new challenge, don’t you love them, I do!
Mindlovemisery’s Menagerie Saturday Mix, the author who encourages us to use Antithesis in our writing, (opposites) She has provided an excellent example here below:
In literature, writers employ antithesis not only in sentences but also in characters and events.

Charles Dickens’ novel ” A Tale of Two Cities” provides an unforgettable antithesis example:

“It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us, we were all going direct to Heaven, we were all going direct the other way.”

Below please find my attempt writing using Antithesis (Opposites)

Remember we are visitors, guests if you will, on this good earth, our stay is brief, like a flash. God is our host, an anchor, holder and our keeper.
If you are seeking happiness realize your enemy who it is: the evil one permits all things in the name of freedom, the deceiver known as liberalism. Recognize a friend for what they are, one who forbids, hinders and opposes destructive actions.

You have been enriched a gift, a guide just for you, an angel, friend.

We are endowed with free will to choose the path; our choice is discord or harmony; peace or war, life or death of the soul. Is it any wonder today so many choose a path of pleasure that leads to unhappiness and spiritual suicide.
