The Perfect MOTHER — RDP

Today on RDP Saturday, we are prompted to create a post with prose, poetry, or image and share it with Ragtag Daily Prompt”, “RDP,” and “Silk” as tags.

Silk always reminds me of the Mother of God; when she lived on earth, she was very poor, and silk was not a part of her life. She was humble and the perfect mother; God knew, and He created her for a special role; although she had free will, as the Bible quotes, she was full of grace (Luke 1;28) and never sinned of her own free will.

However, when her life was over, she died as we all will; now lives in heaven forever, helping us who ask her. She is dressed in the finest SILK, as fit for the Queen, she is.

Some Christians, by their own admission, ignore her and they miss out so much for the Bible also informs us that all generations shall call her Blessed. Luke 1; 48 “all generations shall call me blessed.”

Politics, Supernatural Reality

Prophecy, Anti-Christ, and today!

Today I will write about prophecy, Catholic prophecy.  No not flash fiction but I wish it were.

I am not a prophet and have no direct line to God.

However, I have read several prophecies concerning our day, the days of the Great Apostasy from the Church founded by Christ, as foretold in 2Thess. Chapter 2. Describing the times before the coming of Anti-Christ, with a capital “A.” Today is that time! Many know, and some don’t know, and others don’t care to know. Know about the Great Apostasy!  My experience or my serendipity moment happened over 35 years ago when I discovered the Catholic Church was not what it used to be. The Church was no longer One, Holy nor Apostolic, but an optical illusion. My neighborhood church and throughout the world slowly apostatized, now a man-founded religion that has adapted to the world a strange belief they called Vatican II.

What to do? Seek, and you shall find, I told myself, go back to what you have learned and believed from the beginning, and so I did.

****************

Back to prophecy: Here is an example of one said prediction of what will happen before Anti-Christ

“People will rise against peoples, and nations will rise against nations, sometimes allied, sometimes enemies, in their fight against the same party. Armies will come into frightful collisions and will fill the earth with murder and carnage.

As well as that. I see that the earth will be shaken in different places by frightful earthquakes. I see whole mountains cracking and splitting with a terrible din. I see come out of these gaping mountains whirlwinds of smoke, fire, sulfur, and tar, which reduce to cinders entire towns. All this and a thousand other disasters must come before the rise of the Man of Sin (AntiChrist.)

Pretty Scary Stuff Divulged

What’s wrong beside everything?

The word from FOWC today is interesting to me since I just read about China’s discovery. AND THE WORD IS DIVULGE!
Let me divulge a Biblical prophecy ABOUT THE BEAST written in the book of Apocalypse chapter 13, verse 13 — ” And he did great signs so that he made also fire to come down from heaven unto the earth in the sight of men.”

The Bible carries scary words, but following the link below broadens them.

Doomsday stuff, you say … TIME WILL TELL!

Ah! Another Challenge, poetry, Word Prompts

Secrecy of Symbolism — Prefigurement

This post today encouraged by Weekly Writing Challenge composed by me, below.

My inspiration wrote in Haibun poetry with Haiku at the end.  The rich symbolism of words, especially when one looks deeply into Biblical teachings and the teachings of the Catholic Church.  The challenge this week by “Weekly Writing” calls for 5 prompt words to be used, prompt words below are underlined.

Tabern

Consider when the Divine King, Jesus was born, and placed in a manger. A spot where food is set to feed animals. This rough trough became His first bed. “And this shall be a sign unto you. You shall find the infant wrapped in swaddling clothes, and laid in a manger.” [Luke 2:12] “SEEK AND YOU SHALL FIND.”
Now recognize this and grow in grace; the symbolism of this is profound!
Many time the faithful being described as His sheep. Continue to read …
“He said to him the third time: Simon, son of John, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he had said to him the third time: Lovest thou me? And he said to him: Lord, thou knowest all things: thou knowest that I love thee. He said to him: Feed my sheep.” [John 21:17]

As it has always been stated in the glowing Catechism of the Catholic church, whenever a priest has appropriately been ordained a priest in the old rite of ordination without changes, it has been given to him from God above the power to consecrate the bread and wine into the True Body and True Blood of Jesus Christ. “If any man eats of this bread, he shall live forever; and the bread that I will give, is my flesh, for the life of the world.”[John 6:52] Not dead flesh but the Living Flesh of Jesus Christ, also known as the Eucharist.

Laid in a manger
Food for our souls — as promised
God can do all things

Rich symbolism becomes this manger where the newborn Baby Jesus laid on that first Christmas. “And they came with haste, and they found Mary and Joseph, and the infant lying in the manger.” [Luke 2:16] That first Christmas so long ago, meaning Christ Mass. The word for Christmas in late Old English is Cristes Maesse, the Mass of Christ, first found in 1038, and Cristes-messe, in 1131.
