#PPAC what is it? A fun challenge of Public Art

See ANNOUNCEMENT

This seems like fun to me and living in Spokane, there is a lot of public art, like this ancient rock that I drive by every time I venture out.

The story as I see it!
I imagine someone; one day saw this rock. They suspected it some creature that needed an eye, and I believe they took the time to create an eye.

Below is a close up of the gifted artist’s work.

I love it! I hope you do also!

Wednesday Challenge

A Tangle that is FUN!

I love to create art, any kind, I will at least try it once, and the Weekend Challenge from partner GC and me is Art..

Today I will show a piece of art that anyone can do, it’s called Zentangle, a glorified form of doodling. Here is one of my zentangle drawings — I did put this on Pixabay awhile ago, so it is possible you might have seen it on the internet. Pixabay as you know is a place on the internet you offer your own art for free. None of my art will ever be copyrighted, since I enjoy sharing. However after posting the above I also upload my art on several sites that offer it for sale; artists are compensated a small commission. Always fun when something sells.

Try it you can begin by just drawing or trace a circle from a dish in your kitchen.

Found Poetry of why Catholics Honor Mary

Learning something as I go along — i.e. what is “found poetry?”

Plus an added bonus in that dVerse wants poetry regarding Privileges.

Reading here on WordPress from other knowledgeable bloggers aroused my interest.  I did what any other person does these days, search google.

Wanting to try it, I decided to go for the Bible and see what poetry I could find.  After researching “found poetry” and the rules, there were none — changing, switching words, cutting, pasting adding or subtracting anything is permitted as part of the creativeness.

However

I was at a disadvantage searching the Bible because, well you know the Bible is the Word of God; therefore having to be careful not to change the context was a must.

Taken from the Book of Luke; Chapter 1

Title of my “found” poem

The PRIVILEGE of Mary

(verse 26)    Angel Gabriel
(29)               His word
(30)               Hast found grace
(35)               Power of the Most High
(38)               The angel departed
(42)               Blessed art thou among women
(46)               Mary said
(48)               All generations shall call me BLESSED

With the exception of seeking into the Bible for God’s Words.

Otherwise the art of FOUND POETRY, in my opinion, the art is in the montaging of words.

When I saw the word VIBRANT associated with art, I immediately thought of a painting that I created with Alcohol Ink; here below is my vibrant image and the link to a video if anyone is interested in learning about alcohol ink.     Join the fun here!
